Apple has continued to sell models in the same device class with equal feature sets. Consequently,  except for the larger display and longer battery life, the larger iPhone 14 Plus has no special features. Notably, this generation’s iPhones don’t come in tiny forms.  According to rumors, there was not enough demand for smaller iPhones, so the 5.4-inch display size was dropped in favor of the larger 6.7-inch model. Design: The iPhone 14 looks almost identical to the iPhone 13 it replaces, with the exception of a few  minor color alterations.  The aluminum chassis, diagonal rear camera system, and notch are identical. 460ppi is seen on the 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display.  Despite being a new model, the larger iPhone 14 Plus shares all of the features with the smaller device,  including the same-sized camera hump.  It has a 6.7 inch, 458ppi Super Retina XDR display.  Yet unlike the pro model size it is simulating, it lacks ProMotion. The displays feature HDR, True Tone, and a P3 color gamut, just like the iPhone 13.  In typical operation, the OLED gives a contrast ratio of 2 million to 1 and a brightness level of 800 nits. The U.S. version of the device’s lack of a SIM card slot is the only significant design difference. Users won’t have to worry about physical cards any longer thanks to Apple’s full commitment to e-SIM compatibility. The design has been significantly modified on the inside.  Apple changed the logic board’s design to rely on a central aluminum core for stability, as well as other systems.  This makes it much simpler to remove the front and rear glass, greatly improving repairability Cameras: Apple added a larger 12MP sensor with a wider f/1.5 aperture to the newly renamed  Main Camera, formerly known as the Wide Camera. This makes it possible to take better images and perform in low light more quickly.  This represents a 49% improvement in low light, according to Apple. There was no mention of the macro photography function coming to non-pro phones, and the Ultra Wide Camera is unaltered.  To make the capability available, Apple would need to incorporate focusing into the Ultra Wide Camera. The addition of an f/1.9 aperture and autofocus enhances the selfie camera.  The selfie camera can take better pictures more quickly when coupled with the depth sensors used for Face ID. Moreover, the chipset enhancements allow for 4K filming when using Cinematic Mode. Customers can choose between 30 and 24 frames per second to benefit from improved camera performance. New Features : Emergency SOS via satellite Crash Detection Emergency SOS via satellite The newest iPhones might link to satellites,miles above the Earth’s surface without the use of a  massive antenna module  thanks to special antennas and equipment built by Apple.  This technology is primarily designed for use in emergency situations. With a clear view of the sky or below light foliage, a user can activate Emergency SOS via satellite to send out a distress signal. The device will walk the user through prompts to ensure communication is kept short while being detailed. UI on the display shows the user which direction to point the iPhone to get the best signal from the satellite. Messages sent using this method can take anywhere from 15 seconds to several minutes to relay. There’s a non-emergency use for this as well. If a user wants to update friends or family on their location in the wilderness, the iPhone can use a satellite signal to relay that location data. Crash Detection The Apple Watch Series 8, second,generation Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Ultra,  and the iPhone 14 series all contain sensors and algorithms specifically designed for crash detection.  The iPhone or Apple Watch will call emergency services if the user is involved in a serious auto accident.
